Dr. Troy Brumfield is a distinguished healthcare leader, with a legacy of excellence and dedication. His journey began with an honorable service in the Marine Corps, where he showed his loyalty to his country. After that, Troy completed his undergraduate education at Idaho State University.  He obtained his medical degree from Des Moines University, followed by his Family Medicine residency training at the University of Iowa. With a strong commitment to patient care, he remains an active practicing board-certified clinician, exemplifying the values of expertise and compassion.

Troy’s entrepreneurial spirit emerged as he established and grew a primary healthcare company in Idaho, demonstrating his ability to navigate the complexities of the healthcare landscape. Through strategic leadership, he facilitated the successful merger of this enterprise with a local hospital system, contributing to its expansion and transformation into one of Idaho’s largest healthcare systems, where he currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer.

Troy displays a remarkable range of expertise that goes beyond conventional limits. His academic pursuits took him to Dartmouth College, where he earned a master’s degree in health care delivery science, further advancing his knowledge of the intricacies within the healthcare sector. At the same time, his sharp business acumen flourished as he engaged in asset management across private equity, the hotel industry, and real estate, showcasing his adaptability and strategic vision. Troy is a proven start-up entrepreneur. He has also had many successful exits. He has worked to grow a healthcare system from a simple surgical specialty hospital into a two-hospital system with full-service line delivery and over 80 outpatient multi-specialty clinic system with over 6 ambulatory surgery centers.
